Social AI
This just seems so odd to me. Maybe it's because I used SmarterChild and Omegle back in the day, so I already know what it's like to chat with strangers. And maybe once I actually get to try the app myself, I'll have a different view. But this just seems like a weird play. Have you used SocialAI? What do you think about it?
PS5 Classic & taking off to game
I think the PS5 Classic looks really cool, and I do kinda want the controller. But this feels like a $700 money grab. I guess if you don't already have a PS5, this is a good move. But what's the point if I can't go all the way back to PS1 on the console?
Also if you take off to play with your new toy? Have the best day with it. As long as you're not losing out on money or avoiding other responsibilities, do it up guilt-free. We should all be so lucky!
Sports stuff!
The Sixers are probably moving from South Philadelphia to Market East (downtown). When? I do not know. But I don't like the way the mayor is handling this because I just know it's going to be messier than it needs to be.
Speaking of messy, the Oakland A's played their final game in the city this week. I can say lots (and I did) on how bad this is for the city and the sport, but I'll turn to ESPN reporter, Jeff Passan instead. He summed it up quite nicely.
The Oakland A’s were killed by greed. Do not allow the people responsible for this to spin it any other way. John Fisher did not have to move this team. Major League Baseball and its owners did not need to be complicit in it. This was a choice. A wrong one. History will sneer.

The day after I recorded, the Phillies won the NL East. Later that night, they clinched a bye to the Division Series. As of Friday, they are the number two seed behind the Dodgers. Cross your toes they jump ahead!
