Buying direct
For real though: Why can't I buy food items directly from manufacturers? Would it lose them money? Do they have an exclusive contract with certain suppliers? Do they just like upsetting me? What gives!
Return to work interview?
These seem utterly pointless at best and oddly invasive at worst. Why do I need to interview after I called out? The reason is in the system (even if that reason is "personal"). Work is weird.
Employee Appreciation
Speaking of weird things at work, please stop trying to appreciate us. Getting a plaque in the office and telling us to sign it is not a thing we want. A cheap lunch is not a thing we want. Pay us more money and/or stop making us come to the building. It's that easy.
Batman: Caped Crusader
I didn't have time to watch more episodes this week, but I still would recommend this show. If you like animated bat things, this should be right up your alley. If you grew up on Adam West in the suit, maybe not. But I'm excited to watch more of this show!
