We are way short on time today and I have to handle a house thing, so enjoy the music and the rasslin and the baseball talk today. Let's go!
Music from Courstellation (2:54), WrestleMania weekend (7:07), converting malls (22:54), embarrassment for the A’s (33:49), more on the Shohei Ohtani gambling scandal (40:00), and a Flyers Update from The Captain (58:03).

Courstellation
Many thanks to our new friend for the tunes! Find more from her here and tell her Pat sent you! Also let's find a way to get both of these songs into some hot teen dramas - they'd fit perfectly! (Yes, I realize I misspoke. I did my best to fix it!)
WrestleMania 40
Oh my goodness, what an incredible weekend we had! I love professional wrestling. Everything about it - the pageantry, the action, the storytelling - is right up my alley. I can't believe we got to attend the biggest industry event. I am forever grateful and will cherish those memories always.
Converting malls
Is converting a shopping mall to housing - or a mixed-use space - feasible? I realize I am idealistic about this, but I need someone who works in construction to level with me here. Is there a practical way to make good use of these big properties as-is? Or do they have to rip down to the studs first? Let me know what's what!
The A's to Sacramento
I hate this. If they're heading to Vegas, fine. That seems inevitable. But no one can step back and say "hey let's at least keep them in Oakland until then" here? This is such a bad look for John Fisher and the league. Sell the team!
Ohtani gambling update
Every update on this is more insane. First it was $4 million, now it's $16 million. Then the guy faked being Ohtani to wire his money to the bookie. Now we have felony bank fraud and plenty of people still wearing tinfoil hats. Wacky stuff here! (Also I may have said the wrong number when speaking on the gambling losses. I can't fix it so...my bad!)
Flyers
The Fly Guys did finally win this week, but I can't say I'm super optimistic about the playoff run. They have collapsed in almost spectacular fashion lately and The Captain has been here to document all of it. Fingers and toes crossed - and thank you for the hard work, my friend!
💸
And that, as we say, is that! I hope to have more time next week to get things together. I can tell you that we will have another tune from a new friend, so come on back for that. Until then, don't do anything I wouldn't do!
Crap open a cold one!
