We packed a lot into today's episode: a sweet tune, sports news, where I've been, and weird foods we love. Let's do the thing!

High Street
Thanks to our friends High Street (and TREND PR) for the tune! Check them out at their website and head over to Marquis Lounge in San Bernadino tonight to see them perform live!
Pat World
It's been one week quite hectic over here lately, but I'm happy to report we all came out the other side okay. We are all glad that the kiddo is back to daycare, maybe him most of all. I hope I don't have to do that again for a while - and not just because I'm out of bonus material!
Specific foods
If I missed your answer to this, I apologize. I appreciate your input all the same. I love how deep people can go with questions like these, and I only wish I could've had Josh on for this because I really enjoy when we chat about listener responses. Soon (maybe)!
NFL Game of the Week 3: Green Bay Packers at San Francisco 49ers
I realize I made no strong argument for my pick here, but the NFL is weird so far this year so maybe I'll give myself a pass. Who do you like in this game?
NHL: 99% vaccinated by season opener
I love this news. The NHL made the call to say "hey you won't get paid if you're unvaccinated and miss time with the thing" and players jumped up and got the shot. I know a bunch of employers are doing this too, but it feels different when people who make a ton of money [relatively speaking] are encouraged in this way, doesn't it? Just get the thing!
(Also re: baseball - I hope my reverse psychology works for the Phillies. Every time I talk about how well they play, the ground they'd gained is gone by the time the show posts. Maybe this will be better!)
Jeopardy! update
I almost forgot to mention this on the show. They did not tape around Mike Richards and he began his first episode by saying "It's smooth sailing from here" which turned out to be one of the funniest lines on syndicated TV, I think. At least we know who will man the battle station through the end of the year. Maybe next year we'll have different guest hosts?
❓
And that is that, my friends! Thank you for joining me today. I hope you are well and that no one has eaten the last of your favorite thing from the fridge. Speaking of eating, next week we're talking all about the Bigfoot Pizza from Pizza Hut, so you have until Wednesday to let me know your thoughts on that. Until then, don't do anything I wouldn't do!
