There's a lot of nonsense happening in the world these days, and I was unprepared (still am) to really dive into it. So I'll just say that I hope you're all good and offer whatever help I can if you aren't. Come on by and let's play some N64!
The lovely Jillian and I behaved like a middle-aged married couple last week as we spent a day at THE MALL. I gotta say, now that no one can throw coupons at me - well I guess they still could - it's not so bad wandering around there looking at stuff. I got some shirts, a new jacket, Chick-Fil-A, and Stewart's! I win! (Also let's go to that Stewart's up there for my birthday!)
So I went a bit longer than I thought with the foosball, but it's one step closer to only having one game to do so we did the thing!
NFL Divisional Playoffs
Atlanta Falcons at Philadelphia Eagles
Tennessee Titans at New England Patriots
Jacksonville Jaguars at Pittsburgh Steelers
New Orleans Saints at Minnesota Vikings
Now in theaters: The Commuter

Our tune this week comes from new friends, Mongrel Dogs! Their EP (High) is available now, and I was happy to play the title track. Check out the video below! Thanks, guys!
Before I touch on how much reading I did, may I again wonder aloud how silly these apps are? Why do I need to download a separate app to answer a message on my show page? It makes no *coin* sense and someone should fix it! Make things easier for me already!
The question this week was one I've had on the list for a while, so I'm glad I finally got to it. I realize it morphed from "What do you wish you knew sooner?" to "Here's a bunch of stuff I still need to know," but I think we covered the big hits. Thanks to everyone for weighing in - I hope my reading didn't deter you from taking notes!
- Doing taxes
- Writing a resume
- Making a budget
- Investing/Retirement
- Self-defense
- How to sew
- Money classes: consequences of being bad with it
- Driving a stick shift
- Learning another language
- Relevant classes for your degree/field of study
- Insurance
- Etiquette
- Opening doors
- Giving up your seat
- Eating at fancy restaurants
- Your limit for crapping open cold ones
Not much for HOTSTOVE again, and the Flyers didn't play this week, so we got to hear about Bob's Emporium - call him!
And that's all for the menu this week, friends. Thanks for coming and doing the thing. Next week we'll have a new tune and a bunch of other stuff! Wooooo!
Crap open a cold one!
