Hi, friend! Since I have some time this afternoon, I will tell you what I'm excited to stream over the next month. Yeah, opinions!
12-year old me is doing backflips over Dark Angel coming on 11/21. It was my introduction to the lovely Jessica Alba, and from what I recall, felt a lot like BOURNE. Can't wait to do the thing!
Even though I own it, I'll highlight A Knight's Tale. It is a wonderful movie that you should absolutely watch if you have yet to see it. Heath Ledger crushed it and there's jousting - everyone wins! (Except, you know, the losers of the joust.)
I may be setting myself up for crap here, but I will probably watch Bram Stoker's Dracula at some point. I don't think I've heard a good review of any Dracula movie, but I really enjoyed the book so I will at least give this a shot. Wish me luck!
If my dad could figure out how to work Amazon, he would be very excited that Crocodile Dundee will be streaming soon. Since he probably won't, I will do it for him! Wooooo! Let's watch the things!
You guys, Dirty Work is hilarious and criminally underrated. On November 1, or sometime soon after that, find time to watch it. You can't go wrong with Artie and Norm!
St. Elmo's Fire is a movie that I have seen in pieces on TV maybe a dozen times. I will make a point to watch it in full soon. Maybe I'll do a review here or on the podcast to judge what I remember against what actually happened. People still review movies that came out more than 30 years ago, right? Great!
Speaking of awesome movies everyone else can quote, The Departed will be on your fancy gadgets soon. I have seen this movie, but it's good enough to sit down and enjoy all over again. Do the thing!
For newer movies, Logan Lucky and The Hitman's Bodyguard are two that I am looking forward to seeing. I previewed both of them on the podcast, but of course didn't get out to see them. I'll keep you posted!
And finally, there are a bunch of James Bond movies coming soon. I think I've seen like, 3 of these, so some vacation time may be in order to catch up on 007. Let me know where I should start in the comments!
November brings three highly-anticipated Amazon Original Movies, three Amazon Original Series and one holiday special available exclusively for Prime members to stream or download at no additional cost to their membership:
