Back to just me this week and I'm following up on a few things. We've also got brand new music so let's do the stuff!
Pat shares some live show thoughts before playing new music from Jason Didner (7:08), then rambling on a Chick-fil-A streaming service (12:38), ticket-only weddings (18:11), losing whole websites (30:36), and preschool orientations (46:55).

Live show thoughts
I didn't think I'd talk about this today, but I had some things bouncing around my brain so I shared them. My lofty expectations were misguided at best, but I am so excited that people have signed up to come to the show. You can too by clicking here.
Many thanks to our friend for the new tune! Go get Underwater Basket Weaving here (bandcamp) and let us know if you sign up for the course!
Chick-fil-A streaming service
So according to Deadline, this is real. The company wants to create some family-friendly programming and they are "moving aggressively" toward that goal. Okay then! We need a Veggie Tales ripoff starring chicken sandwiches and waffle fries or it's not worth it.
Wedding ticket sales
This story of course made curmudgeons mad and I am always here for that. It is an interesting approach, for sure. I have a hard time getting people to come to free events, so it's not a route I would take. But if you know your friends would do it (which they did in this case), then absolutely lift this idea. It's your day. Go have fun with it!
Losing websites
I hate this. We should have access to information online, even if it may seem frivolous to some. I hate even more that this decision was likely made by an executive who has never written or researched a story ever. Web hosting should not be a crippling expense for a corporation. If it is, the C-suite needs to take a damn pay cut.
Preschool orientation
It was unfortunate that a schedule change threw everyone's plans for a spin, but we all made it out fine. The boy will start on Monday and then I'm sure we'll all be sick by Thursday. At least we can walk to the place!
🏫
And that, as we say, is that! Thanks for coming along today. Go buy some merch and come see us at the live show next month. Or just keep listening and dropping the heart reactions. That works too. Until next time, don't do anything I wouldn't do!
Crap open a cold one!
