Someone suggested that I should be editing the show as I go to save time. I did not do that this week, but it gave me something to think about going forward. Anyway, I'm on bed rest so here's the stuff for the show!
New music from standards (3:41), The Super Bowl on Nickelodeon (8:00), and bowling (17:42). Plus a patpeeve on personal space (22:22), a new sports streaming service (29:53), Disney/Epic Games (35:54), fan mail on referees (41:03), and a Flyers Update from The Captain (51:35).

Thanks to our dear friends for the tune (and to Doug for the reminder)! Go preorder Fruit Galaxy here and tell em Pat sent you!
The Super Bowl
I had no rooting interest in the game, which made the first half really boring. But the Nickelodeon broadcast was very fun and I hope we get more of that. Also, thanks to everyone who played Game of the Week! We had fun, but it's time to end it. Congratulations to all of the winners over the years!
Bowling
This was so fun and I hope we get to do it more often. And I don't say that because we performed so poorly. So if anyone ever wants to come sit with the kiddo on a weekend, let me know so we can go do the thing!
patpeeve: Personal space
Look, I'll make this easy: just be aware that other people need to exist in public. I'm not saying don't celebrate or have fun, but just don't encroach on someone else's space. And don't look at them like they're the problem because you don't understand you might have to move an inch to your right.
WBD, ESPN, Fox Sports service
Do we need another? I personally don't, but maybe they will surprise us with their offerings and/or ease of use. As long as the service is better organized and the interface looks better than Peacock, I think that's win right off the bat, Read more here!
Disney and Epic Games
This is interesting, even if I don't exactly know what it means. This could either get us some sick remakes of classic games, or at least some actual support from Epic. Or maybe none of that will happen. Read more here!
Fan mail: Thoughts on referees fixing games?
I know I meandered about during this segment, but the main thing is this: I can buy referees fixing games, because an NBA official was punished for it. Does this mean I think every call that goes against a team I like means the ref is on the take? No. But it would not shock me to see another official get popped for gambling at work like many players already have.
Flyers
Captain, you did it again. Thank you for dropping in, my friend! The Flyers are on a roll and you do the best job of bringing the business our way. When can we talk playoffs?
🎳
And that, as we say, is that! Next week I hope to regale you with the tale of my procedure as I return a member of the seedless grapes club. Until then, don't do anything I wouldn't do!
Crap open a cold one!
