Show notes - Episode 185: Moving to Blame THE MAN, Not the Mead

Hi, friends!

I took a sleep this morning, so this may not reach you until the afternoon. But it's been, and will continue to be, pretty wacky around here so my bad. Let's do the stuff!

Click here to download the episode!

Pat rambles on current events (1:33), gives a life update (5:08), relives a nightmare at work (9:53), and shares exciting news from Rebel Hive Meadery (12:45). Plus bad characters on good shows (17:40), new video games (24:57), a tune from Moonfall (30:30), a corporate patpeeve (35:28), and more!

I really didn't mean to go in on the current event that much, but I just wish things made more sense there on the hill. We paid for an entire book and got the cliff notes version instead. What gives?

If you missed the update here last week, here you go again: we're moving! Now comes the ever-exciting process of figuring out what we really want to take with us. Also for that canned episode: I'll set the deadline at April 7 (WrestleMania!) so I have time to put stuff together. Do it up!

Yes friends, it's true: my bosses made a room full of adults read to each other. It was terrifying and, again, is a terrible way to train people. Yay taxes!

To Ryan and Meghan: I'm so sorry. I really didn't do so great telling everyone about your wonderful business, so I'll try to redeem myself here! Rebel Hive Meadery is set to open, and you should go get the stuff! Also, read this wonderful piece by Brad Rhen in The Reading Eagle!

I think what I'm going to do for these questions is go back to posting them directly on social media. They will still be here for people who don't do the facespacetwitgrams, but it will no doubt be easier for you to be able to answer the questions right there. So we'll try that and see what happens! (Also Audrey is still the worst.)

Also also, here is that video that makes Ross seem like a psycho [his natural state]:

🎮

If you like video games, you may enjoy the latest episode of Almost Better Than Silence. If you don't like video games, listen anyway because they're great and I was on the show again. And if you get Generation Zero, let me know if you can control a robot at some point because that would be awesome.

For those of you who don't like sports, you made out well today - unless we do hear from The Captain. You were instead treated to some more of my yelling. I don't think I will ever understand why corporations are allowed to get away with so much shady business with literally no consequences in this country. The big wigs line their pockets and everyone in the "normal" bracket gets the shaft. It's rubbish, I say!

What else I say is that we're outta here! Enjoy the day - it's supposed to be lovely - and don't do anything I wouldn't do!

Crap open a cold one!
